Morbius confirms earlier UK release date

After endless setback, fans of Morbius now have good news – films will be released earlier than expected in the UK. Well, sort of.

The new Spider-Man spread-off was set to star Jared Leto as Vampire Dr. Michael Morbius, and recently scheduled for April 1 (sixth delay).

However, this film is now confirmed to release in England the day before on March 31 – which means we can at least say it hit the big screen next month now.

The last delay was due to the omicron Covid-19 variant in recent months, which pushed it back from the release of January 28 before. The film itself was originally scheduled to hit the cinema throughout the summer of 2020.

The latest trailer for Morbius was released back in November, and included Jokey poison references where the main character was seen beating bad people.

“Me. Venom,” Morbius stated, before joking: “I’m just joking, it’s Dr. Michael Morbius is ready to serve you.”

The film will see Morbius dealing with childhood friend Loxias Crown / Hunger (played by Matt Smith) after the last find a solution to rare blood disorders, the titular character struggles, which gives him a superpocal like a vampire.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Spider-Man universe, the latest film has no way the house breaks down all kinds of records when released last year, becoming the best-selling film this year.

This is also the sixth best-selling film of all time (at the time of writing), behind people like Marvel Avengers films: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity Wer.

Morbius is scheduled for release in the UK on March 31 and the US on April 1.
