Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max – everything we know about the new Apple chips

Apple finally announced the new Apple Pro M1, which we thought would be Apple M1X, and Apple claims it is the first time anyone has made a SoC design for pro-level laptop.

It produces up to 32GB of integrated RAM and memory bandwidth is very fast, which should make it a very powerful, especially when combined with the design of the core 10.

The new chips should be available soon, although we are still not sure where the laptop will be supported at this time. Although, Apple claims that Apple M1 Pro, along with Apple M1 Max stronger will be the most powerful chip for laptops Pro. We have to test it, but it looks promising.

We will continue to update this article as we learn more about the two new processors, along with our expert analysis.

Cut to the chase

What’s that? New pro-level processor Apple, MacBook Pro and others.

How much does it cost? Starting at $ 1,999 (£ 1,899, AU $ 2,999)

When does it come out? Preorder starting today

Release Date Apple M1 Pro

We used to think the only Apple will launch a pro-level M1 processor, called M1X, but today Apple announced the Apple M1 M1 Pro and Apple hardware Max event in October.

Apple has announced two new laptops with the new processors, MacBook Pro 14 inch and 16 inch. Both are available for order today, and will begin shipping between 5 November and 10 November, according to the Apple Store.

Apple m1 pro Price

You will not be able to buy Apple M1 M1 Pro or Max, as they are just chips on the back of the device next MacBook Pro. However, we know what it costs new MacBook Pro devices. 14-inch MacBook Pro will start at $ 1,999 (£ 1,899, AU $ 2,999) and the new 16-inch MacBook Pro will start at $ 2,499 (£ 2,399, AU $ 3.749).

You can order these devices with M1 Pro or M1 Max, which means $ 1,999 (£ 1,899, AU $ 2,999) 14-inch MacBook Pro and $ 2,499 (£ 2,399, AU $ 3.749) Macbook Pro 16-inch will feature M1 Pro with 16-core GPU.

If you want to M1 Max, will cost at least $ 2,899 (£ 2,799, AU $ 4,349) for MacBook Pro 14-inch, and at least $ 3,099 (£ 2,999, AU $ 4.649) for the 16-inch models. But it was only for a 24-core GPU version. If you want a 32-core GPU full fat, that price will rise to $ 3,099 for MacBook Pro 14-inch and $ 3,299 (£ 3,099, AU $ 4,949) to 16 inches, making it the most expensive laptop around. But, we would not expect anything from Apple.

Apple M1 Pro Specifications and Performance

Apple M1 processor is remarkable for being able to do some high-performance computing without consuming too much power, which means it causes some battery life is exceptional, and it looks like Apple is trying to bring the same design ideas to the 16 -inch MacBook Pro.

This time, Apple M1 Pro is a 10 core chip, but while it’s only two more of Apple’s core original M1, it doubled the number of high performing cores. M1 Pro has eight high-performance core and 2 core efficiency, compared with 4 high-performance core and 4 core efficiency in the original chip. That means that M1 Pro will be faster than M1, but we may start to see the battery life began to take a loss, but we would expect with a larger chip.

But lower efficiency may be worth it for creative users, because Apple claims 70% better CPU performance.

GPU also get a big bump. In Apple M1 Pro, you get 2,048 units of execution (EUS), which is a big improvement over the 128 EU found in the original M1. But because Apple put so much focus on power efficiency, Apple found a way to put these in a GPU that seems only a peak of about 30W, but exponentially faster than what is found in the Intel GPU you find in Intel processors you find in Intel processors ,
