I am an editor on the technology site, so it might not be too surprising to know that I constantly carry one or two laptops in my bag at any time, along with at least one phone and a pair of wireless headphones. This is a 130W charger with two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports, and 100W of the power budget goes to the USB-C port – and will divide it evenly between the two. That means you basically get two fast chargers with one plug-in. And because it’s 100W, even charging my 13 MacBook Pro fast enough.

This is really trimmed by the number of chargers that I have to bring every day down from two or three to one. Which makes the weight slightly easier to bear.

Because, yes, this is a bit decent – for a little charging brick, at least. It weighs 1.2 oz, which is a lot for what it is. But when you assume that it will replace our three chargers who also have a close weight with it, it makes a lot of sense for someone who brings a lot of technology with them.

Because while it adds a little weight to my bag, it’s at the point where I really won’t leave home without it.
